AFRICA4U  ASSOCIATION promotes the true life and success stories of Africans in the Diaspora and Africans around the world .
Over the last few years we have organized Awards empowerment initiatives and community cohesion events in THE UK, U.S.A, Germany, Holland, Romania, Switzerland,  Malta and Nigeria.
We have also organised BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATIONS at THE UK HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT for Seven years in a row.
We also partner with regional and international organizations, educational institutions and constituted authorities to organize and facilitate events and initiatives in various cities, regions and countries


AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF AFRICA4U ASSOCIATION 


To initiate empowerment initiatives, inspirational talks and small scale award 
events aimed at encouraging, motivating and promoting upcoming Role models
in The UK, Europe and Africa

To promote and enhance creative confidence, emotional well being an entrepreneurial development among the youth in many communities as well as 
facilitate alternative educational activities and bespoke initiatives. 

To partner with regional and international organizations, educational institutions and constituted authorities to organize and facilitate community cohesion and 
empowerment initiatives in various cities, regions and countries

    Tony - CHAIRPERSON FOR AFRICA4U ASSOCIATION 





        Tony Tokunbo Eteka Fernandez is a Multi- International Award Winner, Published Author & Poet, Events Planner, MC and Youth Empowerment consultant. He is also The Founder of AFRICA4U ASSOCIATION 
People also see him as a Cultural and Social entrepreneur, which means he is skilled in working with many different communities, bringing people together in successful focused events. Tony has organised many cultural events involving both BME and mainstream communities. He is skilled in hosting events that reinforce community cohesion and bringing different kinds of people together. He has organised events in The UK, The U.S.A, Netherlands, Germany, Romania, Switzerland , Nigeria  and Malta. Tony  has visited over 30 Countries. 
Tony has also organised The Black History Month Celebrations at The UK House of Parliament for seven years in a row.
The annual events he has organised at the UK House of Parliament over the last several years have attracted the attendance and the admiration from Members of Parliament of Labour, Conservative and Scotish National party, as well as Councillors, Community leaders and Role models from at least 21 Countries.   Tony has a flair for bringing people together from different cultural backgrounds to celebrate their stories and connect collectively
In February 2017, AFRICA4U  made history once again, by organizing The first ever awards for African Migrants in The History of Malta in conjunction with The African Media Association, Malta.  The event was well attended, not only by Role models from African communities, but also Role models from Malta, Spain, Serbia, Norway, Holland,  the UK and other nationalities
Tony continues to promote the true life and success stories of Africans in Europe and Africans around the world and has organised several small scale literary and awards initiatives aimed at empowering young people and aspiring Role models

Today he also manages a social media online network group of over 5.000 Members and has worked with various community groups from Nigeria, Cameroon, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Malta and many other countries
Tony has also been a Keynote Speaker for several International initiatives and network summits, some of which include The International Symposium for Cultural diplomacy in the The Commonwealth  organised by The Universal Peace Federation (Part of the United Nations) in conjunction with The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, Berlin, Germany
He has also spent time as an International broadcaster and was The Producer and Presenter for AFRICA4U International Radio Talk Show at Reading4u Radio Station for nearly three years.

 



ANZIR BOODOO -  LEEDS COORDINATOR




Anzir Boodoo is of Mauritian heritage.  He has lived in Leeds, West Yorkshire for many years as well as several parts of the South of England.  He is the owner and CEO of Transcience limited. 


Anzir is also an interdisciplinary transport and urban development planner and social researcher specializing in a variety of areas including rail operations, urban design, planning policy, business process modelling and cartography.



MERCIA OMOTEJERHE JENSEN-  BIRMINGHAM COORDINATOR 












Mercia Jensen lives in Birmingham, West Midlands. She is a graduate of The City University, Birmingham where she studies Paediatrics. She also studied sociology at The Open University and Psychology at The University of East London. She is very passionate about making a positive difference in many communities.  

Mercia is a Cancer Ambassador.  She is also The Birmingham Representative for our UK Based AFRICA4U ASSOCIATION 




STEVEN ADEWALE FERNANDEZ -   LAGOS COORDINATOR 









Steven holds a degree in Accounting from The University of Lagos, Nigeria . He is The Lagos Representative for The UK based AFRICA4U ASSOCAITION .  He has over 8 years work experience in accounting and also has a passion for computers, cooking and swimming.
